We work collaboratively with schools and families to support children in developing their full potential and am able to offer a range of training courses for nursery and school staff, parents, and other professionals.

Examples of training available include:

• Identifying and supporting children with communication difficulties
• An Introduction to PECs
• Making sentences using Colourful Semantics
• Lego Therapy

Laura Elwell is an Elklan Tutor and can provide the 5-11s Total Communication Training Package to primary schools.

Elklan Speech and Language Support Training course is a practical accredited course for those working with children aged 5-11 years. It provides information and strategies to develop the communication skills of all children but especially those with speech language and communication needs. This can be run as a 3 day intensive course or as a 10 week course run in 2 hour slots.
